Starting Small

Daccs was formed in 1989 by Diane and Chris Irwin. The name they chose for the salon is a combination of theirs and their daughter, Alix, initials. It started as a small business, in small premises, with Diane and two other stylists, Louise Bradley and Nicola “Princess” Slade, who are still with the company today, working long and hard to make it successful.
Four years later another small salon was opened with more stylists employed. Both these businesses quickly outgrew their premises and the search was on for somewhere larger.
All their hard work paid off when both salons combined in 1998 along with the opening of “The Beauty Centre”, to make DACCS what it is today. Probably the most successful salon in the area!

We have a fantastic team of stylists and therapists at Daccs, friendly, helpful, flexible and confident people all working together as one big team. We love to make our clients feel as if they are the most important person in the salon and do you know what? They are!
All our team go through ongoing training with regular trips to the Wella academy or Decleor training Academy to keep up to date with the ongoing changes in our industry.
Daccs team are all passionate about the industry they work in, they work fantastically together and succeed amazingly together!
